Legend of the Seeker: Deception
I still havn’t decided what I think of Legend of the Seeker but in this episode I think I got past the trouble I have been having with the differences between the book. This is because part of the problem I have been having was that Richard really felt like the same person.
This episode the character didn’t feel nearly as much like Richard Cypher as the one in the book. In the book one of the things that I liked about Richard Cypher was his willingness to do anything to achive his goals because he understood just how important they were.
Not only that but he was someone who would change people just by being around them and perhaps they will get there with Richard but for now it didn’t feel real to the character.
That is probably a good thing though. If this is a differnt character and a differnt story then I can completely ignore the old story and the old character.
As a completly seperate story that has nothing to do with the Sword of Truth series The Legend of the Seeker isn’t bad, it’s actually a pretty good show. The action is interesting enough, the stories tend to draw me in and I like the characters so I suppose i’m probably lat to the game but I’m not thinking about them as the same thing anymore.
