Eureka: Your Face or Mine — Review

I typically enjoy the episodes of shows where they let the supporting characters come to the front. It doesn’t always drive the plot forward as much as other episodes but you build up the cast.
“Your face or Mine” gives Jo Lupo the chance to step up to the front of the show for an episode as Carter is taking his annual test. Sadly this leads to one of the biggest problems of the episode, the title.

This isn’t the first time on Eureka that the title has given away the episode mystery for me. Perhaps not everyone else got it so easily but for me as soon as I saw the title I knew someone was going to be playing two parts.

Erica Cerra did a good job playing two parts and a reasonable job as sherrif and while the character she plays simply isn’t as much fun as Carter it dosn’t need to be, though I wish they would make her a bit more criticle of Jack more of the time.

I’m still enjoying Eureka though it the fact that they use a formula for most episodes is becoming more obvious every week that is the way things are with shows like this, I just hope that they choose to break that formula once in a while. Let someone besides Jack solve the problem, or don’t have a major crisis for one episode.

Still, so long as they can keep the show fun I’ll be watching and this episode was certainly fun.
