		<description>I enjoyed the book and the pilot, but I also think that the changes were for the better. If you haven&#039;t had a chance to see the pilot in full yet, there is a somewhat familiar character in it - a scientist named Lloyd Simcoe - who shows up towards the end.

The creators have said that (assuming the show survives), they&#039;ll reach the flashforward point before season&#039;s end, so I can only assume that like the book, the time where there&#039;s a flashforward will be occupied with another flashforward.

As long as it doesn&#039;t end up like Hiro&#039;s annual visions of future doom, it should be okay. I hope the show lasts long enough to exploit the premise fully.</description>
