Just an odd little character that I doodled a while back… originally meant for a one-page story.  I’m not sure that the idea is actually worth the effort of drawing.  So, he waits in limbo.

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of drawing wrinkles.  This drawing is based on this digitally altered version (by Anja Millen) of this stock photo (by mihairadu).  When I saw it, I knew I had to give it a shot with pencil and ink.  People really seem to respond to that combo (ink outlines, pencil shading).  Maybe I should do a comic in that medium eventually.  What do you think?

I did these squirrel studies in preparation for the story I am currently working on for  the next Random Ink.  Their structure and nimbleness makes them fun to draw from a bunch of angles.

Here’s something you probably haven’t seen before, colored or otherwise.  Dusty decided to make an Art Nouveau Hulk.  He will still SMASH… just in a highly-decorative way.
