OUR OTHER COMICS:

The above crossover strip is by my good friend Amber Stone. I really got a kick out of seeing how she combined our characters. Her comic, Love the Dango, was originally in the Zuda competition back in January. She has since continued it as a webcomic that updates three times a week. You should definitely check it out!
And below you can see the Zuda crossover image that Sean McFarland created for this month’s competition. I like how irate (and muppet-like) he made Dr. Nimbus look. It’s cool to see all of those different characters in a common location.
Two more contests for you all…
Join the EAE Facebook group and check the main page often. Once a week, I will be asking an EAE trivia question in a wall post there (which will be easy to answer if you’ve read the comic). The first member to email me the correct answer will win a free commissioned drawing of the character of your choice! One winner each week!
Just follow me on Twitter, and once a week you will also see a chance to win a commissioned drawing just by responding to a certain tweet on there!
I liked that fan art by Josh Alves so much that I went ahead and turned it into a wallpaper! Check it out!
Also, here’s some new fan art starring Dr. Nimbus (along with characters from two other Zuda entries this month) by Walter Ostlie. Walter runs the Zuda Fan Art blog, which you should definitely swing by sometime… great stuff! I really enjoyed seeing his more realistic take on Dr. Nimbus!
This one is by Paul McKinney. It’s such a treat to see another artist’s take on my characters. Thanks, man!
Well, this sure made my day! Two different pieces of fan art! The one above is by my artist friend Josh Alves, who is a former Zuda competitor himself. His comic, Araknid Kid, was actually on there twice, as he was one of the few invited back to compete in the first Zuda invitational. I love his version of Dr. Nimbus! He perfectly captured his personality with that expression and the text. Josh does some great work, and you should totally check out his site!
Below is a piece by Steve Steiner, yet another Zuda pro. Steve has created THREE different comics (Middle-Aged Monster, Colonel MacTagart and Everyone Laughs at the Crocodile Man) for Zuda competitions. He is currently the colorist for the February winner, The Hammer. His versions of Dr. Nimbus and Lothar are dang quirky and fit the goofiness of the strip so well!
Thanks, guys!! If anyone else is interested in doing some fan art, just drop me a line with the image or a link to where you posted it… and it will end up here!
